If you have dreamed of becoming a writer, poet, memoirist, biographer, dramatist, or news reporter but don't know how to launch your writing career, the Shelbyville-Bedford Writers Guild can help. This group will hold instructional meetings mentored by local authors who will share how they overcame challenges to sell their works.

While the Writers Guild typically meets on the first and third Saturday of each month from 2 - 4:30 pm, the SBCP Library will notify on our website and Facebook when meetings will be held, as the dates/times may be subject to change.

You must be at least 18, have a basic grasp of spelling and grammar, and have an idea of what type of writing you want to produce. Please fill out a registration form that can be found at the SBCP Library front desk counter and turn your form into the front desk staff.
